Up the Social Game for Houston Restaurant FM Kitchen & Bar

Houston based FM Kitchen & Bar opened on the Washington corridor just north of the Heights in 2017, and initially reached out to our team because of our their appreciation of our visual social content. They started as a single unit chef-driven concept and have evolved into a more bar-forward concept where the quality and originality of the food is matched by an inventive cocktail program, expanded wine list and tap offering.

What We Did

Their goals were to increase followers and engagement on their social media platforms and reflect the values of their audience more effectively. We continued to focus on what was resonating (burgers, the patio, their dog friendly policy), but expanded focus to show how they support and connect with their community, which drove conversation and interest in the brand...and ultimately an increase in revenue.

We were initially hired for social media and content strategy, but after our initial success in elevating followers and engagement, and the brand's subsequent revenue growth, they expanded our scope to media relations in 2019 and we have been a trusted partner as they laid the groundwork for the expansion of FM to other locations, as well as during this time of Covid Pandemic uncertainty.
