When longtime agency partner Forefront Networks won the production contract for Austin Symphony Orchestra's 2024 July 4th Concert & Fireworks, presented by H-E-B, one of the city's longest-running and largest free-to-the-public events, they turned to Say My Name for PR and communications.
Forefront Networks had a long-term vision: Star Spangled-Fest, a multi-day celebration, culminating in a free performance from Austin's world-class symphony with state-of-the-art visual effects displayed against the city's iconic skyline.
Our objectives were to align PR with marketing to successfully educate the community on the event rebranding, build anticipation for and interest in the new-and-improved program, and further position the event as best-in-class among Independence Day celebrations. We did this with highly-targeted media and influencer pitching, leveraging every aspect of the event from the symphony members to the fireworks coordinators to food vendors to special guest performers.
We secured over 8 million online coverage views and an estimated 100,000+ people attended Star Spangled-Fest.
